The WT2100 wired camera is intended for general purpose indoor use. It can be installed anywhere in a room or indoor space. Installation on a flat ceiling is a bit awkward and the Dome camera is better suited for ceiling installaion. This camera has a fairly wide angle lens and will view most of a room if mounted high in one corner. Parts required for each type of installation are shown below.

The standard wired installation is the most economical but does require a power outlet somewhere near the camera. The Network Cable may be as long at 300 feet. We offer pre-made cable in lengths of 25, 50 or 100 feet. Approximate parts cost for this installaion is $223.

The use of Power over Ethernet as part of the installation eliminates the need for a power outlet near the camera but requires the use of the Power Splitter and Power Injector. The Network Cable is also limited to 300 feet. Standard and PoE camera installations may be mixed on one router.
