The WT3120 wireless camera is intended for general purpose indoor use. It can be installed anywhere in a room or indoor space. This camera has a fairly wide angle lens and will view most of a room if mounted high in one corner. 

The use of the wireless camera eliminates the need for the network cable. Parts required for this type of installation are shown below. The maximum distance for good wireless operation varies depending on where the camera and router are installed. A home quality router can be expected to provide a range of 50 to 100 feet indoors. Walls reduce the range. The Who's There high-powered WTAP400 access point can be used to approximately double this range.

Your wireless router may be supplemented with our WTAP400 to increase the effective range. Since there is no network cable power must be available near the camera. Up to 3 cameras can communicate with one wireless router.
